About

Who builds these, and how.

I am Ahmad Wali Sharify, a full-stack developer in Herat, Afghanistan. I build software for businesses that deal in stock, invoices and staff, where a wrong number costs someone money.

I do the whole job myself. I sit with the owner, model the data, build the interface, design the printouts, deploy to my own servers and keep it running afterwards. The products on this page are the result of that work.

I also teach full-stack development to around 200 students every day. Explaining a technical decision to a room full of people is a good test of whether it was the right one.

  • Start from the paperwork

    Before I design a screen, I look at the ledgers, receipts and forms the business already uses. The software should fit the work, not the other way round.

  • Every number has to reconcile

    Stock, cash and accounts are connected. A sale moves all three, and the reports have to agree with what is on the shelf and in the drawer.

  • Ship it, then stay with it

    I deploy what I build and maintain it. Software for a business is only finished when the business stops needing it.
